Well I have come a long way since I got my car COMPLETELY stock last year...

So far...

Mugen front lip
Ebay amber fogs
*NEW* Rokkor coilovers
*NEW* BOH Headlights
6k DDM Tuning HID's

Hopefully in the near future...
Type A or OEM under sides
04-05 tail lights
04-05 rear bumper
16" Rota Grids
MAYBE OEM rear spoiler (haven't decided if I like it or not)

Basically right now I am going the LAZY black and silver theme, yeh I think it looks cool and could care less if you don't like it, I will paint themm all silver at some point, just enjoying it until I get everything for it.

Well here are the newest pics I have taken today after the coilovers and headlights went in. Enjoy!

Didn't do headlights just yet in the first few pics, you will see when they switched over :p

I haven't driven on them long enough to really know, just drove around the circle to make sure nothing was clunking. They seem to ride decent, so far. Getting the alignment done first thing in the AM, so I will tell ya more then, but I didn't have to buy anything extra. I just used the old washers and stuff from the oem ones and everything fit fine and tightened up nicely. Getting the typical clunking noise when you turn the wheel at a stand still or slow, but not too worried about it, most of it should be fixed with the alignment, I hope. lol

I am happy it is truly dropped though, a lot better than the 1" drop that was barely noticable with the Eibach Pro Kit's I had in before

I was suprised too, camber isn't all that bad, no camber kit either... fronts have about 3-4 threads and rears are about a little more than halfway up. Have about 1/2 - 1 finger gap all the way around, if that. I am still rolling on 14" steelies though.... (yes, I know I need wheels) :D

Well got it aligned... camber isn't too bad only about 1.0-1.5 degrees negative. Rides much smoother, the ride isn't all that bad, comparing to blown struts. Only issue I, as well as many other raceland/rokkor owners are having as well is the creaking of the springs when you turn the wheel at no or little movement. Not entirely sure how that is fixed, to me it just sounds like the spring is rotating when I turn but no idea. Headlights are amazing, love the way it looks, got school tonight, so before hand I am gonna get a wash and try to find some decent pic spots, although no camera, only a Droid X so it'll have to do.

Thanks for all of the compliments everyone!

I think its your tie rod ends, mine does the same, almost sounds like a popping noise?

I almost picked up some Si's last week, but the kid sold them on me... not a big deal, either way, yes wheels are important, but t-belt is WAY more important, need that done asap... don't feel like replacing a head :p

Hopefully I will be getting that done within the next month or so along with the leaking cam seal and then I will be good for maintenance items for a long time. Then it's on to wheels and everything else :D

So, I am pretty sure I fixed the major leak I was having... I had already replaced my valve cover gasket, and it was still puddling up under the cam cap... pulled that out yesterday after buying a new one and hondabond from the dealer and here is what I found...

Here is the new one lol

Have taken it for a bit of a drive and no leak as of yet, hopefully thats it!

Next thing on the list is the tbelt, which will probably be done this weekend or next.

As far as the noise, it is still there, figured I would give it a couple days to settle in, but no such luck. I have exhausted my resources, searched this forum, honda-tech, and other forums (scion, bmw, vw) and people have posted plenty about the issue but no solution on how they fixed it. I have gotten the alignment, I never had this issue before so I know its not strut bearings, everything is tight and I double checked that yesterday after already triple checking it when I put them in. My guess would be that there is just not enough load on the spring to keep it seated seeing as there is no groove like on OEM to keep the spring from turning.

Another thing I think it could be, when I got the coilovers, there were 2 pieces that sat on top of the spring, am I only supposed to put one on? or were they to stay how they were, because that is how I kept them? Anyway, I know people are gonna say use the search feature, get better coilovers, blah blah blah... it just bugs me that some people have the issue and some don't. Not everyone has 1k to drop on coilovers, so thats not gonna happen, and I have already taken in that if it can;t be fixed, I will live with it, just want to see if anyone has FIXED it and could tell me what they did. Thanks!

If it helps too, when I turn the wheel to the right and it pops, then straighten it out to drive down the road, the car pulls to the right a bit, and vice versa when I turn to the left and it pops then when I go straight it pulls to the left a tiny bit/goes mostly straight (due to crown of the road) don't know if that will help at all, but kind of makes me think its not just the spring rotating.

Thanks! Little update on the car, took apart the coilovers to try to figure out the clunking noise that Raceland/Rokkor is notorious for, turns out I just had it put together wrong and with help of some nice peeps here on this site I was able to piece it all back together the RIGHT way, now NO MORE CLUNKING!!!!

I did take the bump stops off and lowered it a bit more so the front was maxed down, which was too low, exhaust was dragging when I turned just a tiny bit, plus just hitting a little bump, my lip scraped. Raised it back up, tires still rub a tiny bit if I corner it hard and exhaust too, but nothing compared to what it was. I will get a pic up of how low I was able to get the front...

Yeh that is correct, the EP3 coiloers all fit the EM2/ES1, just make sure the first thing you do is get an alignment. The toe is out so bad it's not even funny. If you don't know how to adjust toe enough to be able to drive it, get it towed to an alignment shop. The fit well though with no issues.

Thanks man! I think next might be (depending on money) try to get a set of wheels, and if not that, then type a sides and 04-05 tail light conversion.

The HID's are from ddm tuning. They are the 6000k 35w set. Didn't think they were bright enough at first, but new headlights = blinding people haha I aimed them down quite a bit though so its all good now :D

yea, im not much for that saggy ass look.lol. but would like to see what your car looks like evened out in the back, btw, what tire size are you running and how do you like the ride on your rokkors? thinkin bout buyin either them or racelands but everybody says rokkors are stiffer. :dunno:
