Old setup which was the blue springs compared to the new ones

Getting down to Business we thought that the new Sleeve was gonna be to tall so we cut it down bout 5 threads

Image

The ground control spacers was to thick for the sleeve to fit over so we trimmed them down

Getting spring and spacer and strut all cleaned up and greasy :)

Putting L screws into the sleeves

After its all said and dunn put thew spring on and top hat on and she is ready to go

Yea me too im so glad i took the time and the trip for this

And no my fenders are not rolled im just cambered in pretty dumb close though

with the 5mm spacers i have bout 4 1/2 turns with the lugnuts anything below 4 is bad so 6mm would be pushing it on oem studs

And thanks y0 sup wit ur 7thgen?

i got married recently and let my wife drive it to work so nothing new yet, im highly considering 5 lug with dc5-r wheels if we decide to keep it, she really wants a wrx, im debating 240sx, and my friend is waiting to buy a house..if that goes through he will sell me his 02 bmw 330 under $3000 and were saving for a down payment on a house, so everything is on hold until something starts generating.

oh but i emailed DC sports because they're looking for a 01-05 ex coupe for exhaust research so i may see what that entails. too many options haha.

loving your EK btw both rides are sick!

he wont care lol
:tup::tup: this guy nows me to much :eek3:

Is there a place to purchase just the threaded sleeve thingy? Because I think I have to purchase them all together. Or could I just send them an email with the spring rates I want.:dunno:

EDIT: Nvmmm... I'll probably order just some sleeves, either skunk2 or gc's... maybe some skunk 2 replica's. hahaha. I probably would get banned for that... jkjk. Then just get custom gc springs late on.
he can get the spring rate custom done but eibach but who nows how long and how much it would cost

Looks sick adam, good job. your hard work paid off!

I wish i could sit that low, but i dont want to have to drive sideways everywhere.
thanks bro like eric said its a lifestyle u either hate it or love it and u build up the knowledge to figure out what streets and driveways are best for u

I was always told that OEM struts would blow if mated with anything other than OEM springs. I'm assuming they struts made by KYB can take more abuse?
nope false there are dozen of Cali people ridding on OEM struts are are fine
