B18C4, Help Not A Noob Swap Topic

Ok so my newly aqquired vti-s has a B18C4 motor....same as the GSR teggy C1 motor, with less hotter cams.


its done like 120k still purrs away but i kinda get the feeling everything needs a dam good clean.

I've already done tb, gonna take off intake mani this weekend, im changing the plugs over too iriduims too got those super 4's at moment and they suck.

Best oil for high millage car? and i wanna get a new intake mani.....kinda stuck as what to get any advice?

also does anyone know how the fuck i play around with the ecu? heres a link to some info on the car.... here

just put in some mobil1 full synthetic or the castrol full synthetic you guys get over there which is supposebly the real deal not the shit we get here.... unless its a synthetic oil virgin then id probably put castrol high milage but any brand name high milage oil is good as long as its changed regularly with a good filter.

look, if it doesnt leak, use 5w30, like the cap probably says. as for an intake.... u wont gain that much, look into some skunk cams first. as for plugs, get rid of those +4s they suck ass. as for cleaning the engine, get some seafoam and run it through a vacuum line into the intake, itll clean lots of shit. as for the ecu, ull have to look into what ecu ur running, whether its a p28 or otherwise, u can probably chip it
