Rate Your Exhaust

Hey everyone I don't believe that we have a rank on many of the types of our exhaust/catback. I hope this thread will not only help me but everyone.

PLEASE - ONLY RATE THE EXHAUST IF YOU HAVE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE WITH IT. Please help keep this thread the "go to" place for the important exhaust information and post questions elsewhere.

Fit 1 to 5: How well does it fit the car without cutting, making new hangers, etc. 1=fit like hell, all the way to, 5=fit tighter than stock without rattle.

Power 1 to 5: 1=less power than stock, 2=about the stock 3=some gains, 4=very noticeable, 5=Feels like its been boosted

Loudness 1 to 5: Volume 1= Quieter than stock to 5= Loud, wakes the neighbors when you get on it.

After the name is the material: SS= Stainless Steel, PS= Stainless can only, AS= Aluminized Steel and then the pipe/tip diameter. Please Provide Pipe/Tip Diameter. The last number (X is the number of review so far

Power: 2 (I didn't really feel anything and we do have D17's so...

)
Loudness: 3 (Great sounding. Nice and deep and beautiful under wide open throttle)

Also i believe 3 inch piping or was it 2.25 Lol dont remember but the tip is 4.5

Magnaflow Cat-back $285 installed.

Fit: 4
Only problem is that the mid-pipe hangs low to the ground. So I am limited to the amount I can drop it, and at risk of bottoming out.

Power: 3
Feel some thrust, not too much.

Loudness: 4
Very loud inside and outside of car, but it has a wonderful, low-pitched roar. Idles mildly loud. Would not suggest it if you want a quiet exhaust.

It has 2.25" piping and a 2.25" tip. Stainless steel, I believe.

SYS full stainless stell 2.5 inch exhaust...$170 for cat-back

Fit: 5-went on like a glove and fits perfect..no problems at all
Power:0 not going to be affected with d17
Loudness: 4-it is a little louder than some other exhaust
Material-full stainless steel...has held up great

DC Sport TCS... Discontinued

Fitment: 5
Power: 2.5- I could fell a little more top end
Loudness: 3- Low and deep down low, a little loud up top wot.
Matterial: SS

HKS... Was a full Header back setup
Fit: 5- was attached to my dc sport midpipe.
Power: 2.5- felt the same as my dc sport i had previously
Loudness: 5- Easily could b heard from a mile away. Almost full race, no hidding this setup from the cops.
Material: SS

Greddy Evo 2.... Best overall exhaust I've had on the car
Fit: 4- only because the midpipe had been repaired and was a little off before i got it.
Power: 2.5- same thing as all my others
Loudness: 2- really quiet exhaust untill u open it up. Sweet point for this exhaust is between 6-7k.

APEXI WSII

Fitment: 4 (lil rattle when more than 2 ppl in car)
Power: 1- Its a D17 enuff said
Loudness: 2- Low and suttle, very nice sounding
Material: PS (titanium piping sucks)

only problem is i wish the piping was full stainless.

They only make the SYS in 2.5 inch I believe..not 2.25...but this is a great idea and a good thread for sure bro...

loud: 1 very super quiet till u open it up

tsudo N1 2.25 full exhaust $150
fitment. 3 i had to mod the heat sheild also it rattles in the rain.
power .2 but im sure its the placebo effect
loudness .4 it is quite at idle and does have a nice low rumble but its loud when you get on it without the silencer . it is a 3 with the silencer.

its a good setup for the price.

Tsudo N1 for the lx/dx 2.5" piping
Fitment-4 ( came with the adapter to fit the lx/dx. Easy Bolt up by myself
Power-3 (feels like it gots something extra)
Loud-4 ( but a good loud, not a lawnmower)
Material- SS ( great material, polishes up nice, no rusting)

i second magnaflow. I had it for nonboosted for 3 years with no problems. Im an lx guy btw. I had to cut an inch off to fit on turbo downpipe, but its still sounds excellent
