Ok, as some of you already know, im new to the forums and my car is stock.
I want to do many things to it. Intake, header, exhaust.
Lower it. Rims, and bumper lips, skirts... Hids. Small things here and there.
Shifter, swaybars, etc etc. Pretty much what all you guys are doing/have done.
But I have a really important question. Where should I shop, buy all this stuff?
It's pathetic I know, but I rarely EVER buy anything online, so I need advice!
I live in Canada, and most of the e-bay vendors are in the states. Shipping isnt the big concern for me as much as cross border duty tax is. I have no idea how much I could/would get charged with duty tax for anything I buy online so im hesitant.
Any advice please? Any Canadian members wanna help me out?
Suggest any honda aftermarket vendors with good deals that ship to Canada.

P.S. I do have some local performance shops around where i live but they are quite $$$, so i just wanna see what i can find online...

Well, thats the whole point of the thread. I just dont have much online buying experience. Also my biggest concern is how much duty i have to pay when stuff gets shipped over from the States to Canada...

Yeah, but most of you guys are in America and the places you buy from are mostly located in America so it doesn't help me much. Unless you know of vendors that often deal with cross border shipping.

You act like you're the only Canadian to have ever wanted to modify a Honda. Jesus, you think there are Canadian based vendors, let alone manufacturers? About as many as Canadian celebrities, unfortunately.

You're post on a site that's 97% American, 2% Canadian and 1% European (that's you Clint).

Even if you find a vendor in Canada, he still gets all his stuff from the states, so he still pays the additional dollar, thus, you will pay it as well. Your best bet is to find a Vancouver based club for Honda's (not hard). Find out where they get their performance parts. Here in Ottawa we have a few stores.

I like to get my stuff from Teknotik in Toronto, or Teckwerks here in Ottawa who get their shit in bulk from Teknotik.

There isn't some magical fucking aura of cheap parts you will discover. There isn't much you can do except order it from a US manufacturer/wholesaler, pay the extra money and wait the extra days.

Oh, and use fucking Google, look how many Vancouver performance parts stores I found in 0.23 seconds!

I'd blame it on the two completely different economies and fluctuating dollar values. I guess that would make to much sense.
