In the lead up to the New Year we will be doing a giveaway each month, where one set of pads (front or rear) will be gifted to one randomly selected forum member from our entire range, just by participating in the below thread!

In past giveaways We have discussed our first ride, garage and storage spaces, famous people we have met or would like to have met and weird and wonderful vehicles amongst other topics.

We will start this month with a Halloween inspired theme; If you were to make a Frankenstein Car, what parts would you HAVE to have on it? Be silly, be serious, we just want to spark some fun conversations!

Would you take a Ford supercharged engine and put it under the front end of an Aston Martin, with the back end of a Porsche 911? Would you get a mk1 Mini body and put a Hellcat engine in and lift it on a Ford F-150 base?? It can be as ridiculous or as passionate as you like.

The lucky winner will be randomly selected and announced within a few days after the closing date of 1st November 2022 and details will be posted on this forum shortly after.

Please be aware that this thread may appear in more than one section on the forum and one winner will be selected from the whole forum, not a winner per thread.
Pad choice will be based on availability and where a chosen pad is unavailable, an alternative will be offered.

If you are not the lucky winner, EBC Brakes are pleased to be able to offer a 10% discount off their braking products to all members of the forum community using code FORUM10USER
This discount code can be redeemed at EBC Brakes Direct | EBC Brake Pads | EBC Brake Discs or with our USA partners at Perfect Brakes | EBC Brake Pads | EBC Rotors

Any questions or application issues please let us know.

GOOD LUCK………

Well actually... :)

I would take a k24 and put it in a civic hatch run the headers through the hood, put monster front wheels on it and juice it to 1300hp. :p
I'm actually referring to the BCRacing front wheel drive monster civic that recently turned a 7.9 in a drag event. The reason I mention it is that I had occasion to meet the driver of this car at the time, a very humble and gentlemanly Bradley Dillon who greeted me when I got home from work after Dillion roofing replaced my roof. He had me park out away from the house so he could run around with a magnet and make one more sweep andI stayed out and chatted with him which lead to tire talk as I had just gotten new ones and from there The little honda's tenacity, and then on to his racing and how Motec shifters work(WANT!). His own car is even more spooky, a true Frankenstein of parts making up an SRT that makes 8 second runs. I did of course rib him a bit about roads having turns...and for not knowing what the nordschleife hatzenbach or Initial-D is. :p
I was never a big fan of FF dragsters but it was pretty cool chatting with him so I had to go look.

To start out with I'd use a 1970 Ford Pinto as my platform. Of which the Body and oem gas tank. I know your reading this and thinking "Is serious about the tank" And to answer this. Yes of course I'm serious I think tank would not only be suitable due to its unique placement but also help me to blow any of my competition away.
The K-frame would obviously be from a 2019 Russian Avtovaz coupe. with it's easly sourced parts and good old Russian engineering I think it would work nicely.
then I would
engine swap a 2015 Tier IV Doosan diesel out a Bobcat. With and oversized eBay turbo kit bolted on it would be so fast . Where talking less then 100 HP which would give the breakneck speeds. Married to the engine would be a automatic turbo 350. Then to put all that power to the ground would be Ford 8:8 possie. The back of the would be tubbed out with the wildest Mickey Thompson tires I could find.
