hey i search and havent found any answers.. does anyone know what are the pros and cons of lighter flywheels?? is it a good mod to do?? does it shorten the life of your motor?? also whats the lightest you can go on our cars??

lighter flywheel allows you to rev faster, 7.5 is lowest you can go(from whats available) doesnt hurt motor. lighter does equal less strenght usually, but i woultnd worry about it.

ya i had lightflywheel with clutch on old car and is awesome man and reliability is suppose to be better as it doesnt put as much strain on ur tranny/engine yet as "greencivic" states it is lighter less metal it could break easier, but since its performance tuned and tested"get Exedy" you have no worries mine lasted 3 years with 0 problems on last car.
