bought it for 150 shipped from corsport. great service by the way. got it a few days later. opened it up and it was all shiny and new. its been about a month and i finally got it installed. knee surgery not lazy. I started at 12am and finished by 1 am. took it for a test drive and all i can say is im impressed. i have an automatic LX so it was a really easy install. no abs or clutch res to work around.

anyway the vibrations at idle on this setting is not bad at all. it almost feels like a light setting on one of the massage chairs. The car no longer hesitates before shift which is just awesome. the shifts feel alot cleaner and the downshift is soo much better no more laggy feeling when it shifts down two gears. i havent tried a brake pedal launch or anything with it, not sure i will cause i value the trans. overall the car feels alot more responsive when you hit the gas which is very nice and the shifts seem alot firmer and not clunky like they where before.

I would suggest this mod to anyone i met with a 7th gen. very very nice mod and i cant wait to drive some more, makes the auto feel alot less like a piece of shit. if you have any questions feel free to ask.

i am glad to see a positive review on it, i have been thinking of buying one. Seems like a 150$ well spent! I would hope it would cut back on spin and smooth out the gears. Even though i don't do it often, if i ever do drag the auto, brake til 2200 then letting off and hitting it makes the tires spin for a good 2 - 3 seconds.

I think thats alot of money for what that thing is, esspecialy for an automatic.

I can see for manual cars cause they tend to get some wheel hop on the launch or when your going through some twisties with the car in the right gear you can get on and off the gas and have better response. An auto through the turn is no fun, i'm sorry, they just shift all the time when you don't want them to, maybe it's cause i've only owned manuals.

Well i drove back to school a 270 mi drive today and i can say im very happy with the results. When passing the car downshifts so much better, doesnt have all the lag time. It just makes the trans feel alot more firm i guess i would call it. normally i wouldnt have felt ok with just gunning the car from a constant speed, which makes the car downshift, but now its feels just fine. overall very happy with it, much better than an intake or an exhuast thats for sure. no camera= no pictures. do they make esmm for the auto? im going to make the damper stiffer when i get back , basically until the vibrations bother me, not bad at all right now.

been driving the auto for a while so i can get it to downshift pretty much when i want to before a turn. never had a problem with it searching for a gear when i was going through turns. i have lots of fun with it on the curvy mountain roads. i can live with the auto trans for now. going to get a new torque converter this summer then see if it holds up when i boost it. just bought a new lx head yesterday on CF so i will have a camshaft to send in for a bisimoto regrind early this summer. along with a head to send in for when it gets turboed. yes i know its alot of "wasted" money to some people doing it to a automatic but i really enjoy working on the car so not a waste to me. will upgrade to a new car after school. would have loved a manual but it just didnt happen so i will play with the auto cause its just not practical to go with a manual swap until the automatic breaks.
