Im trying to make a budget build for anyone that might want to do this:
Plans as of (March 31,2009):

I shop around and find the best deals i can on parts and ill be posting them up throughout this build. This will take a few months so be prepared to watch it unfold. May even take me a couple years to finish it but it will be well worth it in my opinion. Be prepared for a crazy master piece!

Total cost so far:

Engine:

  • Block $250 shipped
  • Crank $150 shipped
  • Piston & rods $600 shipped
  • 02 K20a2 Head w/all sensors and coil packs $700 shipped
  • K20a2 Oil pan $100 shipped
  • K20a2 Oil pump, chain & baffle $60 shipped
  • ARP head studs $90 shipped
  • k24a2 Water pump + housing and thermostat $60 shipped
  • k20a2 water port on front of head, Timing chain & guides $80 shipped

Parts to move K20a to Hatch:

  • K20a2 Shifter & shift cables $130 shipped

now im not sure what kind of ummm that was.. but ill go with it lol..... *i might have a k20a bottom end for sale soon lol.*

Nah i just know how to save and be froogle.. the hard part is going to be finding a good crank....

dam man! real sweet! how long will this be taking? are u still going to stay SC? or u trying to do big things?
Cant say how long it will be... I still have a lot to get to make this functional. and street legal lol..

List of parts still needed:
F22c Crank *That will need to be Balanced, blueprinted, and modified*
Custom forged rods and pistons *for a 11:3:1 compression 2.2L motor!*
*Debating on sleaving it*
s2000 oil pump
Toda Timing chain tensioner
Methonal Injection kit
Nos... maybe *if i can get someone to trade k-pro's with me*

and most of the other things will come from my motor now. Should be able to run about 12psi no problem, shooting for a good 400whp on 93...who knows on e-85 :)... hopefully low 11's, high 10s
