i think i got the wrong one because i went to Corsport and it said was 7.00 and i was like, "thats it?" lemme throw it in the car;)!" but as i started looking at it more closely, i noticed it was the "01-05 Civic CorSport Red Vinyl Steering Wheel H":dunno:

yes, but the connector for the airbag is different on the rsx, so modifcation is required.
Can anybody with a rsx wheel shed more light on this? There is wrecked rear ended rsx at my local junkyard. Airbag didn't deploy. Was gonna get the momo ep3 wheel but the rsx is much cheaper. But if the required modification is a pain i'll just bite the bullet and get the jdm ep3 wheel.

The RSX wheel is direct bolt on. My air bag isn't connected, but my cruise control is. I swapped the chip from the stock steering wheel to the RSX's housing.Do you REALLY want your air bag? lol jk I think the AP2's airbag is bolt on as well.

same issue, i have an 03 ex, and also don't have the two orange/red screws that latinem2 mentions & i can't pull the damn wheel off :pisschair::pisschair::pisschair::pisschair:

am i not using enough force? or am i forced to rent a wheel puller?

i didnt see anyone answer TxEm2's same question & '2 Right Vaccum Fist' said almost the same thing....

any help/ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

so im trying to get a rsx wheel i bought but i cant get the oem wheel off. i dont have the two orange/red screws that latinem2 states in the pic above. i took off the 19mm nut but the wheel still wont come off. any ideas? :dunno:
When you get to the point where you have to unscrew the 2 screws that actually hold the wheel in place mine's didn't have those. I would have had to rent a steering wheel puller. I may not be explaining it correctly. I ended up selling the wheel and airbag for like a 300% profit so I guess it wasnt all bad.

for wiring i am not sure Meng but to pull it , i had a hrd time also
what you need to do is ..loose the nut and keep it attached with 1 or 2 threads(so it will not come out to hit your face ..lol) then try to hit it from behind with your palm all around it will get off easily.

keep the nut attached- do not remove it - coz it almost smashed my face

so all my might was not enough, rented a wheel puller ($60 from o'reilly's) and it took 10 seconds, here's what one looks like

there are threaded holes where these gold bolts screw in, and the center black blot is used to put the 'pulling' pressure against the center shaft assembly

yielding

corsport redh + used ep3 wheel =

would love to go tan to blk one day, maybe a pair of ep3 seats too. dream big kids!!

i guess for now i'll just update my avatar

Tried doing my ep3 wheel today but..

As i began the process of removing my stock wheel i came across this...

2 wires red/yellow going into the airbag

i have an 05 so maybe the newer 7gen had an extra red wire going into the airbag?
Anyone else who did this install run into this?

Heres a pic behind the ep3 airbag
