i think i got the wrong one because i went to Corsport and it said was 7.00 and i was like, "thats it?" lemme throw it in the carnice post:fu:
Can anybody with a rsx wheel shed more light on this? There is wrecked rear ended rsx at my local junkyard. Airbag didn't deploy. Was gonna get the momo ep3 wheel but the rsx is much cheaper. But if the required modification is a pain i'll just bite the bullet and get the jdm ep3 wheel.yes, but the connector for the airbag is different on the rsx, so modifcation is required.
The RSX wheel is direct bolt on. My air bag isn't connected, but my cruise control is. I swapped the chip from the stock steering wheel to the RSX's housing.Do you REALLY want your air bag? lol jk I think the AP2's airbag is bolt on as well. Can anybody with a rsx wheel shed more light on this? so im trying to get a rsx wheel i bought but i cant get the oem wheel off. i dont have the two orange/red screws that latinem2 states in the pic above. i took off the 19mm nut but the wheel still wont come off. any ideas? :dunno:
When you get to the point where you have to unscrew the 2 screws that actually hold the wheel in place mine's didn't have those. I would have had to rent a steering wheel puller. I may not be explaining it correctly. I ended up selling the wheel and airbag for like a 300% profit so I guess it wasnt all bad.
Any tips on doing this? I also ran into the single-stage bag (JDM Momo), so any tips?the ep3 is single stage, the oem is dual stage, just transfer the ignitor from the old bag to the new one and ull be good
