just be sure to take the detonator wires off of the airbag before you solder them. if you get it right, it's not dangerous. a wire is still a wire. not like it's a special magic wire or something. my rsx wheel is hooked up with the detonator wires to a rsx passenger airbag.

everything worked out fine, i just took the two clips off the stock airbag and inserted them into the EP3 because the clips are the same so it worked out just fine

yes, but the connector for the airbag is different on the rsx, so modifcation is required.

hey I was wondering why when I put the airbag on the bottom sticks out a little bit/

I am trying to get this done for my bf and he doesnt know im working on his car he doesnt trust women lol... but its really not working, are there extra bolts or something???

make sure the airbag slides in correctly so that you can bolt it in. you may have to tilt it forward or back to fit it. if it's still popping out, then there is probably something wrong with it.

my friend just tried this a couple of weeks ago and the airbag blew on him, luckily he put the key in the ignition from the passenger side, i wonder what he did wrong?

Also the two screws that are on top of the 19mm nut, they have red/orange paint in them, see the pic, those must be removed. Then pull the steering wheel towards you, while being careful that the wiring goes thru the bottom slot

so im trying to get a rsx wheel i bought but i cant get the oem wheel off. i dont have the two orange/red screws that latinem2 states in the pic above. i took off the 19mm nut but the wheel still wont come off. any ideas? :dunno:

u probably needs the sterring wheel remover tool from a auto parts store....
