Alright so ive found the accord engine, k24a4 has 166hp 161tq and 5sp auto transmission. If i wanted alittle more power i could throw a k20a2 head on it too.

If anyone has info on the tranny mount please post

only way to throw a k20a2 head on an accord block is to replace the pistons with either tsx pistons or aftermarket.

the reason you are failing is because you are looking into a k swap for more power that will never be put into use. you wont track, drag, show your car...so what do you want to swap for? so you can take off faster at stoplights? i think you just want to be part of the "hey look at me, im swapped" .....


the fact of the matter is, your gonna spend about 7-10k on a swap and k pro, and then what?

You dont NEED power in a dd. You can WANT alittle power in add, make it fun to drive.
And last time I checked you didnt have to have a reason to do a swap, its kinda universal, you just want to do it.

haha im mr. form? haha if u think so pal. i did the swap for 1. show(i show the car at shows) 2. more power and actually able to keep up with my other members in my CC who have z's, etc pushing 300-400hp. with the d17 i was always last in the pack. not fun. 3. i actually DRIVE the car to shows and the track. hows that for form? :bowrofl: and 4 cuz i have the money. :fu:

i wonder how much that cost? im sure iaciv working at a pizza place doesnt have that kinda bank roll coming in. just saying. i was young working that kinda job and u only make 5-6 bucks an hr. not exactly balla status. i remember i work 20 hrs and that 20 hrs bought me a pair of jordans in HS. thats alot of hours for a pair of shoes. lol. imagine saving for a kswap? yeahhhhh. lol
