Well, as some of ya'll know I let the civic go last week. Ended up trading her for a 2004 CBR600RR with 8300 miles on the clock. The civic will be missed, but it was time to let her go. There was just a lot I had to do to get that car running perfect, I just wasn't in the mood to work on it anymore.

Thanks, and yeah. I bought the RSX back in August. When I got it, I was actually looking to buy something AWD till I took it for a test drive. It was all I needed. Plus the bike's a Honda too. Sooo lol.

Well, it's been a while since I updated this so here we go.

Here's a few pics of what I've done over the past few months.

PCV, K&N Filter, and Shogun Frame Sliders

Bike apart during install

Then I picked up some paint

Spent about 7 hours on it today and this is how it came out

I'm gonna let it dry for a few days and probably reassemble it on Wednesday..

Next step for the bike is a 6" stretch.. This is how it should look come next spring..

And here's a few rolling shots my buddy took

^^ Bingo. Plus it jacks up the suspension geometry of the bike which seriously affects handling. Spend some reading about rake and trail, how they are changed and how those change affect the stability of the bike.

I need to get a bike. Probably when I turn 18.
I read a lot about bikes and stuff a couple months ago. I kept wanting a certain year, and then I would want a newer year because they got the inverted forks, and then they got a newer body style, and all of these little factors kept making me want a newer and newer bike.
Now I have my heart set on a Triumph Daytona 675. A great looking bike. Beautiful.

I was wondering about stretch though. I feel like it is only for looks, and drag racing. But these things shine on the country roads. And I'm curious what the effects of stretching the bike will do to the handling specifically?

honestly, i think the stretches look stupid.

Ehh, I saw my buddies 07 cbr600rr stretched about a month ago and fell in love. It'll only be about a 6" stretch.. Nothing crazy.

Contrary to belief.. Everyone that lives around me that I ride with that has a stretched bike say's it's the best thing they've ever done and that it handles better. We'll see. I'm really going for just a show bike right now. I don't ride crazy like some of these guys around here on back roads. One of my buddies is actually in the process of stretching his r6 as we speak so I'll prob ride that once he get's it done and it will give me a better idea if this is something i really wanna do or not.

Anyway's, here's the finished product that I came up with. Dunno if I'm done with the body yet or not. I feel like it's missing something..

why would you stretch a 600? and yeah I will say it makes it handle better at the drag strip but not on the street that is just taking the best part of the 600 away from it, it's handling. if you going to stretch do it on something like a busa'

Well see where I go with this... I wanna ride a stretched 600 first before I decide what I wanna do. Everywhere I read says it doesnt handle as good, but everyone I ride with says it feels better. Only one way to find out.

If you don't like it you cuold just switch back and sell it. Yeah, you lose money. But who cares?!
Yea, well see what happens. Need to get some bills paid off first and I want to get it dyno tuned to before I do anything else.

Digging the new color man and the allen iverson reeboks in that pic haha

I've always thought a nice stretch looked good on a bike especially if you say it's for show and cruising. Do want you want enjoy it and ride safe
Thanks man I appreciate it! I was kinda nervous before I started to paint it cause I had never used a spray gun before but it came out better than I thought.
