Started tearing down the hatch to replace the clutch and install the coilovers today. It's been shitty weather all day and the rain just came in again so all I got done was removed one side of suspension and the motor is all ready to be pulled.

Swapped out the clutch, and put the front sleeves on. Have about 1 1/4" of threads left just waiting for springs to settle. Pictures from today.

Ordered an OEM Si lip. 1 of 2 left in the country since they're discontinued.

Also rode around the block on the new coils with 1 1/4" left of threads. Doesn't feel, or look low enough. Going to go to last threads.

Yes, it's original Milano red. It's faded slighty could definitely use a new clear coat, or clear coat restore. And I've noticed in the sunlight slight hail damage. But other than that 220k on stock block and still running strong. This rebuild will be good for it. I have actually considered dropping the A3 in it and buying a k24 for the coupe. But I have to remember this is a DD lol. So about 7-10lbs will be good enough for a DD.

There is a nice pseudo splitter/lip for these cars...check my splitter build thread in the fabrication subforum on k20 for pics somebody posted up. I don't know the brand...but it looks pretty clean and not too flashy. Just an idea if you're looking for a lip.
