I've recently had a problem that when I'm in reverse with the clutch engaged, there is a rattling or grinding type noise coming from the front. It's only with the clutch engaged and is worst when it is fully engaged. As I don't drive in reverse that much I'm not too worried at the moment. The clutch was replaced about 7000 miles ago and the fluid about 10000 miles ago. Throwing this out there but I'm not sure this it but the starter gear is slow to return to it's resting position, could that gear cause a noise like this? I only know it's slow because I took it out to check it and noticed. It used to make a grinding noise on startup every once in a while but that noise hasn't come back. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
