  1. Mechanical Problems
I know that the upstream o2 sensor affects performance , but does the downstream sensor affect performance too? I know that the two sensors compare their data, but can a malfunctioning downstream sensor screw up fuel economy because it affects the (correctly functioning) upstream sensor?
  2. Swap and Forced Induction
i read through damians build thread and came across something i have a question about regarding the egr and knock sensor. i get the part about swappin in the 01-03 waterneck to ditch the egr, simple enough. but how would i go about gettin rid of the knock sensor? is this possible without k-pro...

  4. Mechanical Problems
So every once in a while, especially when my car isn't up to normal operatin temperature just yet, if I let off the gas while I'm still in gear at higher RPM's the car jerks and makes a dull thud noise. Engine revs without any problems, it's only when I'm in gear... Could it a transmission or...
  5. Mechanical Problems
I was driving home today like normal, cruising at 65MPH when all the sudden the check engine light comes on. I have to floor it to keep speed and I'm still slowing down. I limp it to a gas station and I open the hood to find smoke coming from my exhaust manifold area, and everything is VERY hot...
  6. Off-Topic
Ill be modding 2 controllers to allow me to use the 360 controller like a steering wheel. Basically it will be like a PS3 contoller. Just thought I'd share my current project, all parts are ordered, just waiting... Need for Speed and other driving games are going to be badass. Has anyone...
  7. Other
this diy should take 20 to 30 mins, depending on experience. difficulty level is a 1 out of 10. OVERVIEW over time your primary o2 sensor will get dirty (usually around 90k miles). this will cause the check engine light to come on and off; therefore, it will need to be replaced. the part can...

  11. Swap and Forced Induction
I was just wondering if the secondary o2 sensor is wired into the main engine harness or would we have to wire that in ourselves when doing the vtec headswap? I read about how you can use vafc but i wanna use a a2 harness and ecu instead.
  12. Mechanical Problems
Ok, as the title said, I am throwing the code P0335. My car will not rev past between 2.5 and 3.5K, depending on the temp and throttle position. (I am in limp mode!) What I have done. I ordered a new TDC Sensor from Honda, 51.95. When it arrived I pulled the 80 amp fuse and the 15 for the...

I have a map sensor that I purchased a while ago. if i get a standalone system can i still use this one. its the emanage one. Also do i need the woring harness?
  14. Basic Performance
Are the O2 sensors different in 04-05 vs 01-03? I remember reading something about that on the Hondata website (K-pro for D17). I have 02 sensors from a 01 that I was planning to use on my 04. Will I get some problem? or a CEL?
  15. Mechanical Problems
