does anyone know if the centre console with an armrest, will fit into a dx model?

Can someone outline the differences in center consoles for the different years/models? I have an 03 Ex and am wondering what other years/models had the same console. Looks like this:

I drive an 05 ex coupe. The center console in the car has that huge ugly storage compartment, but i never use it. Does honda make a console that doesnt have this compartment on it or am i stuck with this bulky item under my elbow when I drive?

i looked around but couldnt really find a good answer. does anyone know if the 05 center concole swaps with an 01 center console. it looks like it will but i just want to make sure. what about the ebreak? does it need to be swapped also? thanks for the help

just wondering trying to finish up my oem black interior. Beige interior is so tiring. anyways wondering if the 02 will fit in 03's since they did integrate the arm rest to the center console on the 03's. This is the only reason why I want to swap to 02 so I can get rid of this.
