Got a no start on a 05 civic non vtec dx/value package...Got 42psi fuel pressure, and pulse at injectors,12volts to cranknd cam sensors and coils, but no pulse when turning the motor over. From the diagrams I have"similar year models vtec motors"they all share that the ecm provides switched ground to all, trying to verify ecm has the power and ground requirements it needs to operate. All the diagrams I have show the same 2 12 volt switched hots in the 2&3 slots at connector a and 2 grounds at 4&5.I'm only getting 1.2 volts at 2&3,and it shows that coming from the ignition switch immobilizer sensor/module,got 12 volts going to it,just 1.2 coming out.Need proper diagram if anyone has it??? Also is there a proper way to check for an ecm switched ground without frying the ecm???Thanks matt

Ok,thanks...No,she was driving along and it died, and what i posted is what i have checked and found...Think I'm close with the immobilizer, think it crapped out and cut the ecm off??? It is recognising the key, just not sending power to the computer to turn it on,if that is how it works?

Thanks for the replies guys, yea it cranks over, and unfortunately i figured it out yesterday...Seems the timing belt slipped several teeth so the crank and cam are out of sinc, may be why im not getting any pulse? Believe the valvetrain is tore to hell, just replaced the timing belt bout a month ago, knew it was a posibility when it died by the way it was acting, but figured it was slim because it ran good for like 3 weeks...Was trying to exhaust all superficial checks i could make electrically before tearing it all back down to check my index marks, really thought it had a different concern, that the timing belt was good, but i was very unfortunatly wrong...

Another quick note though is,i say the valves are probably screwed because it jumped several teeth, but it hasn't made any noise like they are hitting since i started working on it to figure it out,but the damage may have already been done when it quit on mom,she tried to crank it over several times before i got to where she broke down...Said it cranked up and ran a couple more times, just real rough, then it died...As i was turning it over by hand yesterday to check the marks,it was tight at a couple spots, but then like the cam wasn't turning at other times...Basically once it passed the tight spot,i would turn it over several clicks of the ratchet before the cam would move, but the belt is tight, never came completely off and i havent seen any groves missing...Gonna get it back in time and do compression check, afraid it got mucho problemos though
