Started this on a local forum and like the accountability factor of making a log.
Quest started on January 1st of this year. We've completely change your diet and what we intake daily. We've gone about 90% Paleo, and frankly it's pretty good. Still have our fun days once or twice a week but even then we try to stay some what healthy. Diet: Breakfast: 2-3 hard boiled eggs, coffee, 3 tablespoons creamer Snack: 1/4 cup unsalted nuts Lunch: Prep salad with meats Snack: 1/4 cup of berries(blue, ras, black, etc) Dinner: Meat(steak, fish, chicken, shell fish) and a veggie 120 oz of water a day No processed foods except some dressings and the creamer Started Jan. 1st @ 243.9lbs and a 40 waist. Started Crossfit 2-3 times a week on Jan. 22nd. Down to 232.8 and a size 38 waist this morning. I'll start posting the workouts below. Goals: Under 200 by August 1st, visible abs by January 1st! LETS DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!! |

I recommend using my fitness pal. You can use it to track what you eat and it tells you how much to eat and in what quantities to reach your weight goal. Fun thing about it is that you can scan food items you eat that has a bar code.

Nice, I'm doing v8 fusion for breakfast and lunch, so I've basically cut 1500-1600 calories out of me diet, and now 1 1/2 weeks later I have the belt a couple of notches tighter, it has really reset my stomach.

I've used that before in the past. The only problem you have with that is it is more of just a calorie counter more then anything else. Granted calories do a direct effect on your body, in-taking 2500 calories of healthy foods a day while working out is much better for you the 1500 with unhealthy foods. But something sis definitely better then nothing.
