Default 17x8 on stock suspension? 2nd page****

im looking into purchasing
xxr 521 flat black 17x7 +38 offset 4x100
and i found some good tires for a cheap price
215/55 r17 tires
im wondering if there would be any problems going on my 04 honda civic stock suspension
i was aiming to get 215/45 r17 tires but i can get a good deal on 215/55 r17 tires
will these fit and look good and will i have any rubbing problems?
thanks appreciate any answers.

Default tire and rim size

For tires you can go with 17 215 45. Personally I would go with a wider rim

55 would look awfully weird.
Big fat tire on a large diameter wheel.
I run 45 on a 17x7.5" wide rim

It's not the rim, it's the tire.
55 series, you're going to have a huge speedo difference, much more tire weight, and flex.

Spend the extra money and get proper 45 series tires.
