Default My 4th Civic

Hello all. Introduction threads are not my thing, sort of feels like an AA meeting, but ah well here goes. I'm 4thCivic, I'm new here, and as my nic suggests this is my fourth civic. For those curious, I had an EJ1, EJ6, and EJ8... and none of them had working A/C! Technically speaking I don't actually own a fourth civic yet, so I guess I'm a liar, but this Saturday I should be buying a gray 2004 EX sedan off of a friend, so that's where I'll be on the 4th.

As far as mods/adjustments go, the car is stock so I'll start with a new headunit and go from there. Looking at the JVC KD-X50BT; any thoughts or suggestions? Also one of the headlights is pretty messed up so I've been thinking about picking up some new headlights. Any suggestions there?

welcome to the site! as far as headunits go u can get one like that JVC or sony or pioneer from walmart for pretty cheap, I actually just bought a jvc with nice features for around $66 spliced the wires and called it day.

as far as headlights, I prefer the BO headlights but thats just me, brand new oem ones are really nice too

Pioneer head unit all the way, and try wet sanding and polishing your head lamps to bring back the brand new car luster! Good luck!

Hi and thanks. I assume there's something in the DIY section to restore, so yeah I might give that a try (can't hurt). For the headunit I want bluetooth/USB/AUX and I'd like to be able to route all three through the rear so the front isn't cluttered-- the JVC I referenced does that and has great reviews, but I know I saw someone on here (tried searching) the a similar unit so I'm all ears for the next week.

I've seen a few 'member rides' that were taken on the Brea Mall parking structure. Forgot to mention I'm in Orange County.

My friend and I put that JVC in his car. Sounds good, decent features, good bluetooth audio, pretty customizable.

Only real cons are lack of HPF/LPF filter settings (I think its just on/off) and if you have it set to run a subwoofer you can't adjust bass, only sub volume.
