Exclamation Brand New

Sup guys, I'm brand new to 7thgen. I've been on here for a while just researching stuff for my car but everywhere I go, there's always a million different answers. I just got an 05 civic special edition and plan to start modding soon. First is suspension. Big question is, what suspension set up would be best for slamming that's around 500$ not sitting on the floor but maybe 2.5-3" drop? not tracking the car, it's just a daily driver. I heard KYB springs, I heard neusport, I heard skunk2's. opinions? Thanks in advance

For under $500, you're not going to get a quality drop.

For a few more bucks, I'd go for some Megan coils.
Keep in mind you have to grab a camber kit too.

I don't believe in Junk2 products.

Please don't slam your car its so stupid and a huge waste of money just get some coilovers and do a decent drop to take up the space from your tire to your guard. Invest the money that you'd be wasting on slamming your car and ultimatly paying for new lip kits a crap and but some environment parts or save for a kswap

Looking good. I agree with the others, don't go with springs, but go with coilovers. Go with Megan, BC or Tein.

For $500, there won't be many here that will support a decision on going with Rokkor/Raceland. But really, that is the only set of coilovers under $500. Like some of the others said, saving up for a little bit more will get you a set of Megans or D2's.

(But definitely go with coilovers)

I would save a little longer for suspension parts, but definitely go coils. Btw i love slammed cars.
