Default D2 Coilovers Clarification

Just been doing some research on coilovers and just had a few questions about D2s for anyone who has them or can share the info. Aware of Progress and GC / Koni setups also, but wanted some clarification on these for now and will avoid Rokkors / Racelands as a preference.

I've had a set of F2s before on my old ride and they can def slam your ride, though I was looking for something that has a bit more height range (the Functions even at it's highest point without adjusting the preload was pretty slammed). I'll be running on 205/45//16 and want to barely tuck tread for dd, but have around 2 finger gap for winter. Do the D2s have this range?

Their site has applications for 01 - 05, I'll be applying it to a 02. I know there are some differences with the 01 and 02 vs the 03 - 05 (14mm vs the 16mm bolts). Do the D2s come with any adapters like the Ksports? What's the workaround for this regarindg installation and will there be any issues if I decide to go back to the OEM suspension. Is this the same issue for all other coilovers for the EM2 (ie. Progress, Teins, etc)?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the picture reference! Also killed two birds with one stone as I wanted to see if anyone had the full "Type B" kit. Slick looking car! Encounter any issues with the D2s?

I've had my D2's for 2 months now and the only complaint I have as of this very moment is that I'm getting a squeaking on the front drivers side. I need to check it out a bit further.

On my previous cars, I've always gone with springs but I'm glad I went with coilovers this time around...the ability to fine tune the drop and dampening is nice.

To better answer your question, yes d2's will get you a tuck with 205/45/16's. I can't answer any questions regarding the install, since I had someone install them for me.

The fronts only had a little more to go as far as drop, unless i started to mess with the preload. Now the rears had plenty more to go as far as drop
