What swaps besides a Kswap can I do for my em2? I currently have a blown D17A2 and instead of fixing it I wanna do a whole swap all together. I was thinking about being a little innovative but I'm not sure about my idea; I've never heard of this before. I was thinking about doing a Fswap from a S2000, specifically a F20C swap. Does anybody have any info on this type of swap and know anything that I might need? or just some thoughts on it.

Hey so the f20c is mounted longitudinally with the transmission going straight down the middle to the rear. The d17 and k20 (commonly used for swaps in these cars) is transverse mounted meaning the transmission sits on one side of the engine bay and engine sits on the other side. There are 2 ways to make the f20c work with the civic. You can either transversely mount it and use a fwd transmission (i know they make kits for k20 transmission). The alternative is to mount it horizontally like it is in the s2000 and run a custom driveshaft to a rear mounted differential and make up some custom hubs and convert it to rear wheel drive. This is definitely the more difficult option. Im not aware of any off the shelf f20c kits for the em2 chassis tho

anything can be done with lots of $$$ so basically you have to ask yourself is it really worth the headache.
IMO I would toss replacement d17 for a few hundred bucks sell the car and buy a s2k.
