i understand good brake pads are important, although would drilled and slotted rotors help with a stronger setup? say a turbo setup with heavy tq to allow the rotors to cool down a bit quicker compared to blank rotors

Well looking at all the performance cars, they have slotted and drilled, and since 80% of the braking is up front, I don't know why you wouldn't want them?

Under extreme heat drilled rotors can crack and cause HUGE issues. But 99% of Civic's will never be driven hard enough for this to happen. Check out what happens to S2k's at the track with cheap drilled and slotted rotors.

That being said, I have cross drilled and slotted rotors on my EM2 because they were cheap and look nice. Once I get my car out of the garage and if I ever take it to a track day I will for sure get some blanks instead.

Honda oem pads and rotors are not as much as you guys think. They are a lot nicer and last alot longer , racing or daily driving. Im personally rocking OEM 8thgen Si rotors and calipers on my EM2. Hawk pads are great though if you get the aggressive pads. Honda pads dont have hardly brake dust compared to the cheapo ones you buy aftermarket. Ill make anyone on this site some deals on OEM Honda brake rotors and pads. We already sell pads at $50 shipped alone.
pm me for details and what car you have. EM2,8thgen, etc... always instock, ships same day. They are truly made in the U.S. or Japan, very top notch quality and will outlast anything else.
