Rsx console in a civic

Anybody know how hard this would be, and also seeing about door panels. I've seen the dash but just don't know how much modification or cutting is needed if you have first hand experience, thanks!

the dash needs to be trimmed I think the RSX dash is like a 1/2 inch to and inch longer

for the dash you need to trim about an inch from the windshield side. other than that , dash frame etc... bolts right in, console bolts right in also with the ebrake and handle in shifter, like it was made for it.

What about the passenger side airbag? Would you be able to use the Civic's oem one?

i would assume you would need a rsx one... but ive never done it its just an assumption... lets see what the guys who have done it say... (in for answer)

If I could use the actual bag and just replace the cover I'd prob consider it lol

honda does not sell the cover separate from the air bag and the RSX air bag is square the civic one is not square

You have to use a rsx air bag when doing this, if you can afford a dash, you an afford a airbag

Does anybody have any more pics of the install of the dash with the console? The doors seem to be a totally different story?
