If I'm missing anything important that needs to be replaced let me know. Gaskets are a given of course. As some of you might know already. I got a full mini-me swap including an LSD trans from Paul last week. I was looking for a replacement oil pan, and Paul came at me with this so now I have decided to completely rebuild it from the internals out and then eventually throw it into the hatch. This is my first complete motor rebuild so it will definitely be fun. Hell, this might even turn out to be a low boost build. ![]()

Haha well if someone wants to come help on the wiring for the EM2 it would be done already. This one is just an opportunity build. I'm a technical learner so hands on is how I get my knowledge in motors.
Chipped P06 modified for VTEC, unless I can find an S300 for cheap.

started washing the built up gunk off the block last night. its going to take alot of rags and papertowels to get this thing ready for repaint lol. also cleaned off some of the head surface since there was burnt on pieces of headgasket around the cylinders. found out the piston kit was shipped and should be here next week. putting together an order to autofair for some OEM parts.

Gotta love the D15's.. They are a stupid cheap to build and a dime a dozen. Good thing your going with MPFI and not the DPFI garage d15b2 thats in my hatch.
Pistons are stupid cheap aren't they? I think my friend said he could get pistons for $300 when he kept harassing me to sell my car to him. But good luck on the rebuild, mine will be torn apart in a few hours to do my timing belt and leakdown test and probably replacing the head. PS, I knew you couldn't keep that car stock
