7thgenhonda Photo Contest: Weekend

Subject: Weekend

Find something that represents the weekend to you and take a photo of it. The weekend means a lot of different things to everyone, so it's a broad topic and shouldn't be too hard for the first contest.

Rules as follows:

1) Contest is open to all members & moderators of 7thgenhonda.

2) Only one entry is allowed per participant.

4) Once the entry has been submitted no resubmits will be allowed, this means you will not be allowed to change your photo.

5) MINOR post processing allowed. Minor means cropping, sharpening, color tweaks, and level adjustments. No merging of several photos or chops.

6) Submission format. All entries must be able to meet the 800x600 posting requirement. Please don't submit other sizes like 640x480. We want all photos the same size to be as fair as possible. Keep the width 800 for horizontal photos, so that all the photos are same width. Make sure the file is in .jpg/.jpeg. Make sure your photo has a border/canvas!

Sumbit all entries to me through PM! - banzaisteve

Subject line should be: 7thgenhonda Contest - Contest Title
Body should include the following:
- 7thgenhonda username
- Title of your photo
File naming convention: title_of_my_photo.jpg

Example:
Subject: 7thgenhonda Contest - Weekend
Body:
banzaisteve
Weekend Getaway
Attachment: weekend_getaway.jpg

7) Submissions that do not follow the guidelines will not be entered.

8) Submissions will not be accepted after the 5th(Sunday) at 9pm.

9) All submissions must be taken during the time of the current contest, this means NO photos you previously have taken.

10) Voting will be open from Monday, August 6th, until Saturday, August 11, at 9pm.

11) No one will see submission until day of voting except for me! If I cannot somehow make the voting thread, I will find someone else to do it for me.

12) Winner will be posted on August 12th.

Awards:
- Winner will choose the next contest subject.
- Winner will get a title next to their name when they post, Chris is working on it. Hopefully it can be done.
