took my car to the track

This past Sunday I attended the annual Honda Day event here at Atco NJ. I figured this would be a good time to try out the swap and see what it can put down. Unfortunately, going down there, I had to run with the full interior due to friends coming down and I still had all season Goodyear Eagle GT tires on the car. I ran 2 times down the track and the first one has promising results. I had run a 14.5 @98.5 but also had a bad start off the tree, which was .7. Along with the tree, I had a little spinning issue, which I need to tame down a little. The second run I was able to get a better tree pulling a .040 off the line but all my car wanted to do then was spin. This was due to a little off the rpm mark on my launch and the shocks needed to be a little firmer (adjusted before). That time was just bad due to the launch off the line. Therefore, with a good launch i’m looking at high 13’s and definitely lower 13’s with slicks. So right now, I am searching for a front motor mount insert as well as a set of slicks for the summer season. Because there are more runs to come now that, some initial testing was done.
Oh and by the way, my first run ironically was against a gold em2 with a carbon hood and a few bolt ons. Here is the video of the race as well as in the car sound. Unfortunately, it was cold out and the camera button to end was pushed. The camera was on again but missed the initial walk I had on my opponent.

k20a2 with stock internals. Bolt ons include intake, exhaust, header, and k-pro

nice! i definitely think with slicks a bit more practice launches you'll atleast get into the 13's!! looks awesome btw!:tup:

well right now with a good launch i should be in 13's. just will take some more attempts down the line. with slicks it can only help. im not saying what times im expecting when im all done but we will see in time.
